A PF-70 Coin
The NGC – Numismatic Guaranty Company and other renowned third-party grading services work independently from sovereign mints to certify coins submitted to their appreciation using the Sheldon Scale.
This grading system ranks coins from 1 to 70 according to their condition and authenticity. The highest grade it gets, the more flawless the coin is.
PF stands for Proof Coin, indicating a coin produced for collection purposes, which exhibits mirror-like surfaces in contrast with frosted design elements. Since it has never been in circulation, the coin has no sign of wear, tear, or scratching, which grants it a 70 grade.
